It’s important in lip Augmentation to maintain a balance between your upper and lower lips. Many women come in asking for enlargement of their upper lip. However this request is often misguided.
Natural beauty is all about what is most pleasing to the eye, that usually means balance, symmetry and proportion.
Artists will tell you that Natural lip proportions (with some exceptions) have the lower lip 1.5-2 times the size of the upper lip. Violating those proportions will often result in unnatural and fake looking lips.
Lips should also be fuller in the middle than in the corners. If they are not you will often end up with what’s called “Duck Lips.”
